Baccarat
Facts - Baccarat traces its roots to 15th century Italy where it was quickly adopted as the a game of choice by the French aristocracy. Originally derived from the Italian word "baccara" meaning zero, Baccarat refers to the value
of the face cards and 10's. Baccarat is generally seen as a game played by high rollers, but in fact this is a very easy game to learn and winners generally won from shear luck.
In playing
Baccarat, your goal is to get a hand with a point total closest
to 9. Aces are considered low and are valued at 1, 2 through 9 are taken at face value, and tens and face cards are zero.
If the value of your hand exceeds ten points or more, subtract
ten. The remainder is the baccarat point value
of the hand. Aa an example, if you have a 6 and and 7, your point value is actually 3. ((6+7) - 10) = 3).
